This bright butterfly is design a natural progression of my beginner kits - and still includes full photo instructions for each new stitch, to expand your embroidery skills.
Sammy's Note: this kit was created one Spring, after a beautiful Peacock butterfly came fluttering through my flat. Being on the third floor - and having had our windows sealed against the Scottish winter for months - I wondered whether it spent the colder months hibernating with us. The contrast of bright colours against the teal background evokes the freshness of Spring and new beginnings; and the Turkey Work stitch used to create the fluffy body is just so tactile!
